Haan Slim and Light Steam Mop

I wasn't looking for another mop since I was perfectly happy with my Eureka Enviro Steamer but I saw the Haan Slim and Light for such a great price I couldn't pass up trying it.

Turns out I love the Haan even more than the Eureka. It has a few features that I feel make it even better than the Eureka. It was more lightweight, has a slimmer profile mop head, and comes with a glider attachment for sanitizing carpets and rugs.

• Low profile mop head. Means you can get under cabinets and other low furniture to mop.
• Gets hot enough to sanitize. The Haan Slim and Light gets to 212 degrees, hot enough to sanitize. Many popular steam mops don't including the Shark Steam Mop and Bissell Steam Mop.
• Mop pads are easy to put on and take off. The mop pads velcro on so they are a breeze to put on and take off. Also, they don't shrink during washings (a problem with Eureka) and don't wear out quickly.
• Constant steam. The Haan Slim and Light distributes steam constantly while the mop is turned on. No need to push a trigger to make steam like the Shark Steam Mop requires.
• Sanitize carpets and rugs. Glider attachment is an extra feature many other steam mops don't include. With the Haan's glider attachment, you can sanitize carpets, rugs, and other cloth surfaces.
• Removable water tank. Water tank removes easily so refilling is simple.

Not a whole lot of cons to report for this one! The biggest complaint about this one is that the mop head doesn't have the ability to swivel. This is truly not a major issue since the Haan Slim and Light's mop head is so low profile it is fairly easy to get into tight spaces. I didn't find it hard to get at the hard to reach spaces just because the mop lacked a swivel feature.

The Haan Slim and Light Steam Mop had an overwhelming amount of positive customer reviews.  In fact, I was hard-pressed to find a customer review where someone wasn't happy with their Haan Slim and Light purchase.  I came across only 2 negative reviews out of the almost 80 that I read. 

It seems the Haan Slim and Light really lives up to consumers' expectations for it.  It cleans well, is easy to use, and is well built.  In the one review that I read where someone actually had their Haan Slim and Light steam mop break, they reported that upon contacting Haan's customer service for help, they received friendly assistance and were promptly sent a replacement mop at no cost to them.
